When ML decided (rightly imo) to take the settlement $, it foreclosed the chance of the University making any further statements on the matter. That's literally the calculation for why the school agreed to a settlement in the first place.
Whatever extra vindication he's looking for isn't coming or has already come in the form of the Deadspin article.
and 8.5 years later that minor settlement $ is all gone so I hope he's got some other plan with such a large family
More so, GW as a program has long since moved on, high time to do so, its been nearly a decade. If ML was such an innocent in this situation he would have been back in the sport but we all know that ain't happening

Such a fun game and strong effort from the team!
I thought it was really telling that when Jun was pulled with 4 fouls with about 8 minutes to go, our offense stagnated a bit. He is such a disruptor - a load down low and he also made them pay from behind the arc. Then when he came back he immediately ended a scoring drought and played tough and clean without fouling out for the final 4.5 minutes. Love witnessing the success he is having!

Them calling a shot clock violation after the ball hit the rim to start OT3 and thus not calling the foul as Garett got tackled was horrendous.
I am (at least somewhat) blaming the refs.

I absolutely agree that this is a marketing problem. We have an incredible product - high level competitive live sports in a great stadium for $10/cheap ticket.
This is the same price point as American. $15 cheaper than Howard. $10 cheaper than Georgetown. $10 less than UMD. And like $8 less than going to see a movie.
Especially now that we are having a touch of success - GW is some of the best bang-for-your-buck entertainment in the entire city. I tell people about the price point all the time and among people with even the mildest interest in sports, the response is universally - wow, I didn’t know that, I should check that out.
