Drumgoole on fire tonight. Can't remember the last time we had a player conver two 4-point plays in the same game. If he can consistently prove to be a real 3-point threat that should free up some room for DBJ. Would be massive for the start of A10 play.

Offense looks horrible. No one is hitting anything, so many lazy turnovers, and too hesitant in the paint.

Duquense loses at home to 6-5 Maine. Max Edwards finishes 4 points, 1 rebound, 2 TOs. Not sure how many minutes he played.

DBJ came into the night shooting almost 75% from the FT line. Under 50% for this game which will end up being the difference (obviously not the only reason but a major factor).

Hard to win games when you shoot ~50% from the FT line as a team and 0% from 3. Not sure it's even possible.

Autry and Drumgoole very clutch down the stretch. Not sure there's much more Autry can do to prove he should be starting.

Well, not sure if it's any indiciation of how either team's season will end up during A10 play, but Duquense just lost to Hampton by 5 (I belive they were 6.5 point favorites). We beat them 28

I'd like to see Jones start over Moss moving forward. Also curious to see what a lineup of Jacoi-Jones-DBJ-Hansen-Castro would look like and if they'd actually get Hansen more looks from 3 in that set-up. 

Not sure that half could have gone any worse. A team that can't shoot 3s taking 50% of their shots from there. Getting outrebounded by 14. They are who we thought they were (minus Garrett)

1-6 to start the game...not ideal. Not sure Trey is taking 3s when he's had such a hard time making them this year.

Was getting slightly concerned when NJIT stuck with us but was very relieved to see us pull away at the end of the 1st half and later in the 2nd.

DBJ again had a very nice game and had multiple calls not go his way which clearly frustrated him and Caputo (as they should). Castro with another nice game though I was surprised to see him miss 4 FTs as he's been very good from the line so far. Christian Jones looked good again as well and seems to be a promising young player. Big shoutout to Trey Autry as that may have been the most complete offensive game he's had (minus the 2 missed FTs in a row). He was aggressive on the floor, made two threes, and seemed very confident. If he could give us a real 3-point threat off the bench that would be massive.

I know Drumgoole is supposed to be a good shooter and proved that last season, but he's started the year 6/28 from 3. I think that's a large enough sample size to know that something isn't right with his shot. Many of his misses have come from wide open 3s as well. If he can't get those shots to fall we'll be in trouble against better teams. May need to have him not take so many.

All in all, I'll take a 20-point win any day and look forward to our first real test against KSU.
