That guy on twitter is trolling. Epps is not in the portal and didn't say that about Cooley, unfortunately.

I've noticed through the years that it is usually hard to come by highlight packages for GW's games, so I'm going to try and put some together this season. You can find the video for last night below!
If I'm able to keep making these going forward in terms of finding the spare time and not getting nuked by ESPN's copyright system, are there any mediums besides Twitter that any of you find convenient to view these on?

I understand all the reasons why analysts would be down on us this year. I do not care, GW to the fucking moon. Bring me the overrated corpse of a program they call Dayton.

To echo what Rising said, we really have no idea. I’m bullish on a few of the incoming guys contributing right away (Jacoi, Schroeder and Buchanan), but how everyone operates as a cohesive unit is anyone’s guess.
It’s just nice to have hope and know that the program is seemingly in good hands with CC at the helm.

GW Rising: You did get this one right. Congrats. You and others have hardly been right, however, 99% of the time. I still think it preferable to wait until a recruit or transfer commits instead of raising our hopes only to have them dashed much more often then not--particularly in the face of all this NIL money that larger programs have to throw around.
I think the speculation is fun even if people aren’t batting 1.000, which not even the best national insiders do. Even if the players don’t commit, the rumors of who we are looking at give some insight into how the coaching staff views roster construction and the style they want to play. It’s just one guy’s opinion but I think credible transfer rumors are a good thing in more ways than one.

FWIW I think it's Akingbola but it's interesting to think who would be better for the team:
1. Grad transfer. Short term help, doesn't hold up a scholarship, more experienced.
2. RS Freshman Transfer. Long term help, means we don't have to go back into the portal for a big next year, can develop in CC's system.
At this point give me the grad transfer. We have one year of Bishop left and I’d rather not waste it worrying about our big men 3 years from now. I’d like to see CC and co. push for a top 4 A-10 finish this year and focus on bringing in a long term big next offseason.

Also I interesting that his field goal shooting last season dropped to 40 % last season after shooting 49% each of the previous 2 seasons. Of course there could be a 100 different reasons why that could have occurred, but that is a huge difference.
I would guess that had to do with his increased role in Evansville’s offense. He played 5 more MPG last year as he had the year prior and nearly doubled his FGA in the same timespan. I can’t pretend I watched a ton of Evansville outside of the occasional time I had them in parlay, but I’d guess he was asked to do a lot more last season than he was used to contributing based off his box scores. To me, he seems like a solid role player who was asked to perform more like a star last season. Additionally, being in a bad offense (357 in Kenpom) certainly isn’t conducive to individual success. Given that he will most likely not be asked to stray too far from his comfort zone, I’d imagine the coaching staff will play to his strengths in the limited run he should get every game. Seems like a relatively high upside, definitely low downside addition to the team in my opinion.

Gotta be honest, I am upset over this Massoud development.

Let's hope Massoud comes here. However, wherever he goes he has only one year of eligibility left. In other words, more bigs with more eligibility are still needed.
While we’d only get one year of Massoud, I think him having success for the program could have an impact which extends past next season. If he thrives in DC, GW could become a more desirable destination for other high major grad transfers down the line.

Campbell transfer Jesus Carraleo will make his decision today. He will decide between:
George Washington
Missouri
Vanderbilt
Old Dominion
Clemson
He averaged 10.6 ppg and 5.2 rpg.
Would be meaningful to see him pick GW with three high-majors in the mix. Speaks to the culture and foundation Caputo is building.

Received an offer from Syracuse today.
I really hope we can get him on board.
