My ESPN app said there were 2100 and change people at the game. We are playing great but what do we have to do to put people in the seats?
It isn't just GW basketball. after COVID, people have changed how they spend their time. In addition, the state of GW Basketball has soured a large number of grads. It is nice to see a few recent grads here. It looks like we may have lost a decade or so of students as a result of the state of the team leading to Caputo's hiring. IMHO
One can only hope that we see improved attendance when we enter late-season A-10 play. But honestly, from the student perspective, it's not gonna happen unless the larger student body starts to understand the importance of games like SLU and Dayton; these aren't big names unless you understand mid-major basketball. The Georgetown game was the most electric atmosphere we've seen in the Smith in a while, and we can only hope a close game with Florida might get more students on board.

Does anyone know where I can bet on GW games? DraftKings offers most top A-10 teams, but never GW

Classic GW trap game, but this will be a good opportunity to set the standard early into the season that we can't let up on the gas. We definitely tend to play up or down to our opponents, and while AU might have the upper hand in this series, this is a team we would let ourselves get sloppy against. I lack any level of ball knowledge, but let me tell you, nothing gets me more excited than GW ball.
