Sorry I missed another win. From the looks of the box score, it was close at half but CC must have seen something and adjusted.
Go get ‘em Luke!
And Jean filling the box score again!

Coaching….. we all saw the the Dukes last inbound play.

Didn’t see the game, so thanks for the recaps.
We were double digit favorites at home and lost by 14? Certainly not because one player was out.
I think we all agree that we did not expect this during year 4 of the CC regime. Changes need to be made, and not just a recruit or 2.

Eight losses already this season. Last year we lost only 12. No way we finish with as good a record as last year even with more returning starters than any team in the league and more talent than last year. It's coaching, coaching, coaching. Our opponent always makes second half adjustments and we do not!
I have seen and said too many times, a veteran Asst Coach on the bench is needed.

I fear that Caputo is a much better recruiter than coach. His team came out flat again (Delaware) and he made some bad decisions at the end of a game again. As I recall, we were down three and Davidson had the ball. Instead of leaving a player back to avoid breakaways, he had all five defenders on the Davidson side of the court. What happened: two breakaways for Davidson and the game was lost. Isn't Caputo ever going to learn?
Agree. And a veteran coach on the bench would make a difference.

Painful game to watch.
Looking forward to an addition on the bench next year.

14 point road win against a Patriot league team...a win that was in doubt until late second half.
How are we so bad at shooting 3s? and defending 3s? At least we made FTs.
Still think we should have added to the coaching staff...maybe next year.

Been out of town for a wedding. Did I miss something about Bevins? Box score not showing his name. Was looking forward to a big year from him.

Ask him: During the off season, there were changes to the roster, were there any thoughts of making any additions to the coaching staff?

Great atmosphere, seemed to have a post season feel. Also it was an atmosphere that recruit Sam Fleming may have seen, as it was reported in another thread that he was visiting that day.
I love the depth, which is obvious, but was disappointed in Bevins' lack of PT. Really liked most of the play of the newcomers, especially Bubu. At times there were 4 newcomers on the floor at the same time.
Who said Slim may be a 20/10 guy? He did not look good, maybe trying to do too much in from of Cooley?
Hunger looked a lot better than I anticipated. Why did I feel he was a very thin 6'10" who would get pushed around?
Halftime adjustments: We were down 6 at the half and in the second half it seemed Cooley had more answers than CC. I have said it before, we could use a veteran coach on the staff as an assistant.
Looking forward to more talent and athleticism this year.

The new policy is to prevent people from brining in posters, flags, light displays, and signs.... all in light of the Anti-Semitic and Pro-Hamas demonstrations, and past lackadaisical attitude of the Admin when dealing with these agitators.

Looking forward to our continued climb in the A10 standings. Still would have liked a "coaching transfer" where we get a former veteran HC with experience to ride the bench with CC and staff.
