The joy of that NIT win is always tainted for me by the fact that despite having one of the most talented teams (top 3 or 4) in GW history, we didn't make it to the NCAAs.
jf, the snub that year wasn't unfair. We were KenPom 75 after the A-10 tournament loss to SJU. It was a few shitty losses that put us in that position.

The rule was that coaches are not allowed, but the Georgetown coach is always there, I saw Hobbs there hiding behind a large popcorn watching his recruits and Larranaga and a young Caputo (I think) were there loudly cheering on a GMU team.

According to his Instagram page, David N'Guessan has taken recent visits to four of his eight finalists -- #URI, UMass, George Washington and Kansas State.
Obviously also plenty familiar with Virginia Tech.

Light stats. Good offensive efficiency because he gets to the line a lot (almost as many FTA as FGA) despite the fact that he can't make FTs (55%). Four unremarkable games against Miami in the last two seasons.

Max Edwards likely has 4 years to play & had really encouraging EYBL numbers with 13ppg & 9th highest FG% (top among guards) in 2019.
