GW Men's Hoops » Yuta Update » 7/01/2023 10:44 am

Playing off of HOF'ers like Durant (and Irving?) really helped Yuta, and I hope the payoff is here.

Some simple math shows it is the equivalent of 1.8 post a day, EVERY day, but it seems like so many more.

It is pretty clear from the responses here that the majority of board posters have very limited exposure to college age adults and what constitutes campus activism (or engagement) for them. What may have been 'normal' for the 70's, 80's or 90's, does not fly in the 2020's.

Missouri Colonial should only have one reply - Don't call me Francis

Pinnock was drafted in the second round as a junior. Should there be an accounting of players who have had long international careers? That is a much more likely path for a GW player.

Wasn't Sina involved in the put back play against Florida on the path to the NIT championship?

Barry, Support you 100% on this.  It is your board, manage it how you please.

If these same num-nuts want to have the same conversations over and over, let them have their little corner where they can rant and rave at one another, and allow the rest of the board to remain mostly civil.

In days of yore, WVU was always a sell out.  Do they still allow the Mountaineer to fire off the flintlock?

Just a point of reference on a statement that LSF made earlier, but MJ was selling millions of shoe before 1990.  It was highlighted in the episode, Nike was hoping for 3 to 4 million shoes sold, it was over 100 million, in the first few years.  I purchased a pair of Air Jordans in 1985/86 for $105.

I was looking for 2 minutes of not bad play from the Senior starters.  We got 3.5 minutes.

What is the over/under on how many more messages in this thread before it is locked?

Isaiah Armwood should get some votes

Just a reminder, but JoeMac and Kethan's first semester was a turnover nightmare.

Here is one big difference that should be in GW's benefit - Every single school can have a significant alumni event based around a visit to GW, The bigger the school, the bigger the event.  DC is a destination, Dayton is not.
