Re: SI: Young midmajor coaches on the rise

When the ML is abusing the players revelations came to light, should have fired ML and hired Coach Carm.

Took 3 days to think of a trolling comment.  You’re slipping.

Also, Hajj Turner was the continuity choice.  I always thought he made the most sense.  I’m really surprised he never caught on someplace else.

Re: SI: Young midmajor coaches on the rise

Please please ignore the taunt and troll.  We all know what dude is doing.

Let’s focus on this years team and not turn another thread into one where Barry closes it.

New season, see a lot of newer posters adding comment.  Please ignore the obvious- we all know what it is.

Thanks

Agree Porter71.  Hajj was the most experienced and of course should have been selected.  MoJo was the most personable and the powers that be felt that the leading quality we needed at that time apparently was charisma.  As for Carm, multiple reports on the old site have pegged him from not being a team player to being a whistleblower of sorts regarding Lonergan.  He apparently orchestrated two media interviews, while a candidate for the head coaching position, designed to help him lobby for the job, an extremely self-serving move which obviously backfired.  Suffice it to say that if you really believe GW should have hired Carm as the head coach, a candidate who behaved like a snake under the circumstances, that speaks volumes about you.

Hajj became the head coach at Landon School where he brought back Joe McDonald, a Landon alum, to assist him.

As personable as he certainly was, don't think Mojo's astonishing selection from 3rd assistant to head coach really had anything to do with his qualities.
