On the bright side, certainly appears we’ve kept our in-house fans to single digit.

Do we get to 50 points?
Wow made it all the way to 54. Scoring about the same as our women’s team right now.

I missed the game, but from these posts, unfortunately it sounds like more of the same.

Well this season has been delightful so far. Bad shooting. Bad (or no) passing. Bad defense. If there’s a plan, I really just don’t see it. If the plan can be this derailed by the loss of one grad student transfer, despite the addition of numerous high level transfers, GW has problems.

Methinks there is a pattern here. A solid .333 winning percentage over two seasons and 8 games.

This team is probably better off without battle, averaging almost 19 a game at minn and Nelson, averaging over 13 a game at Delaware while beating lasalle and fordham

Didn’t get to see this one, but not sure I needed to.
We just aren’t a well organized team.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a game spiral out of control that quickly. Brendan Adams misses an open dunk at 14:45 that could cut the gap to five at 36-31, and that’s followed by a Lindo foul and Adams technical for who only knows what reason Mo State follows with a three and then a couple of GW misses and multiple fouls with an added tech on JC and its 48-29 at 13:05. 100 seconds a what should have been a 5 point deficit turns into down by 19.
After that, it was schoolyard ball for the remainder of the game. Not sure anything really mattered in term of play at that point.
As an aside, the refs were terrible for a stretch. JC even had to explain a shot clock issue to them when a Mo State shot totally missed the rim but the shot clock reset on the offensive rebound. The three looked at each other with total confusion until JC laid out the situation for them and they finally went to TV monitor to straighten it out. The refs really started getting it from some GW fans to the point they actually called on security to threaten to eject them if they continued criticizing their calls. Unreal.

Would that fab they threatened happen to have been you? Lol

Good job by the fans to stand up for GW. Maybe the refs came with the junior high where the tournament was played.
We need to remember that these stinkers are against the like of Missouri State, not Missouri. Cal State-Fullerton, not Berkley or UCLA. Cupcake games with bad losses, while our peers are playing (and at times beating) much better teams.
Whole situation is very humiliating.

While I understand the sentiment, Missouri St is currently ranked better than Missouri and was close last year. We shouldn’t conflate Missouri St with UMASS-Lowell and UCSB. They are actually a good team.

It's a sad thing to say but, as of now, people will not want to play us because a victory over us will reduce their RPI. If there is anything like that anymore. We are not a lucky program. Question is if Christian really understands that whatever he is doing does not work. He needs a new profession. We need a system, like Syracuse. Just play 1 thing and recruit accordingly. Others on the board has noted this. We are just tired of incompetence and us becoming a laughingstock.

And Cal (which is what I think you mean with "Berkeley") is even worse than GW. Then again, with the possible exception of last night, GW is yet to play a CBI bubble team (College Park CC? Over-rated)

Regarding the referees in the Missouri St game:
I was there for the entire tournament and the officiating was generally very good. That was not only my opinion but other GW fans had the same reaction. It was WAY better than we see at the Smith Center. Saying that, the two technicals were ridiculous and uncalled for and did change the game. (though MS likely was going to win regardless)
