In the A-10
GW is No. 1 in overall FG percentage
GW is No. 14 in 3pt FG percentage (And 5th in most attempts)
GW is No. 2 in FT percentage
Bishop is 36th in 3pt FG percentage (5th in most attempts)_
GW is 14 in FG defense
Nationally
GW is 48 in FG percentage
GW is 300 in 3pt FG percentage (but 95 in attempts per game)
GW is 270in FG defense
GW is 323 in Bench points

Conclusion-- good things happen when GW drives to the basket. Maybe we should drive to the basket and shoot fewer 3s.

Or maybe if we don’t keep times honest with threes, we won’t be able to drive?

I think CC feels the same way. But when a player shoots too many threes and needs to get benched, who is the replacement...someone on this board?

Interestingly, Max who was feeling it on Saturday and did well offensively (Max is an excellent pickup), took a quick very long 3 pointer that missed badly. He was subbed out right afterward.
Don't know if it was usual rest or CC is trying to bring him along differently as redshirt freshman.
Unlike James or Brendan, who already have their habits ingrained from the JC era and there isn't much depth to sub with, anyway.
