Thinking of it from a "transfer management" standpoint, better to bring Smith off the bench to keep others happy with the starter designation. Smith is a one-and-done anyway.

Hopefully, it's just the way they are positioned. And he has long arms. But 6'10 Stretch seems more
than an inch shorter that 6'11 Keegan in the team picture.
However, if he can defend the rim, which we greatly need, don't care if he is 5'7.

Some first game jitters on offense, but the defense has been great (it helps they can’t shoot). Its so nice to have a bench! Bishop with his first rest in years… Johnson has been fantastic!

Are the Stonehill players aware that the objective of this sport is to shoot the ball in to the hoop? They will be lucky to finish 22% from the field. (Currently for the game missing 4 out of 5 shots, the same ratio of dentists that recommend sugarless gum for their patients who chew gum).

GW is now -11 on DraftKings and -11.5 on FanDuel.
FanDuel still has us listed as the GW Colonials.
Guess I should have taken the "Colonials" and given the points...

Let's call that a good first game. I think we have seen too many debacles in the past during early season games to be upset. Certainly, things to work on, but they did what they needed to in the first game.

I think our KenPom might be improving a little bit after tonight.
Hope nothing’s wrong with Christian Jones? Didn’t see any action tonight.
Also saw Max’s friend Ish Massoud in attendance tonight with a cast on his wrist. Maybe a little remorse he didn’t choose to run with the Revs?

My frame of reference is that we almost never blew out inferior teams in these giveaway games, so tonight was low expectations and a very pleasant and welcome surprise!!! Obviously a few things to work on but with so many new/young kids playing together for the first time, that’s to be expected.
