Treys

Little surprise that after a slow start the Treys are falling

No one more so than Trey Autry who is shooting 48.6% from 3, averaging 21 points per 40

He had an eFG% of 70, doesn't get much better than that!!  he's also 29 for 40 in his career from 2, super efficient player

Jacoi has struggled so far from 3 but he shot 40% last year on close to 100 3s as a Freshman

Trey Moss on the other hand, brings a lot to the table have been impressed with his bounce and how hard he plays, but the shooting he hasn't shown in his career so it would be a surprise if he makes a lot higher % than his slow start from 3 but.....who knows surprises happen

Hansen has only taken 8 but has made 5 and shot 37% at Cornell last year from 3 on 74 attempts

Re: Treys

Teams are going to continue packing it down on us, especially A10 teams, so to be successful, we’re going to need our shooters to make em pay for it.  I continue to like Autry off the bench to give us shooting spark.

One thing - in all but two games, we’ve setttled for a three as our first shot of the game, and we’re just 1-6 on them. Would love to see us attack more from the opening tip.

Was impressed Friday at the game with Drumgoole and Hansen who have size and 3 balls

Drumgoole shot 37.3% from 3 last year averaging 14 a game, 16 a game 2 years ago on 34.3% so he's got the profile of a good sized wing who can make 3s, how do we get him and Hansen more and more looks is what I'd like to see because their stroke looks pretty solid

Jacoi, is playing such intense D, and a lot of minutes that over the length of the game he's going to lose his legs, so he's trading D, more important, for legs, and I think for GW that's the right play IMO
