15 second chance points for ODU to 2 for us. Is energy or desire a factor?

We love turnovers. Stupid ones are preferred.

Nice offensive game for Henson so far, but my god, his defense.

5 made field goals in 28 minutes for the starters.

Nice turnover Gerald

13 missed free throws, including at least 3 front end misses.

Confident unless they have a 3 point opportunity at the end of. the game.

Twice we didn't have a clue inbounding the ball from the base line. Again, what do they work on in practice?

Caputo doesn't teach in bound passing. Terrible.

I know we won, but this team has so much work to do.

Hail to the Buff! Hail to the BLUE!!!
Not much to cheer about, ODU will struggle to win 10 games this season and was still in this one in the last 60 seconds, even after their fans started streaming out of the gym (is traffic in Norfolk really THAT bad?!?!?). Rebounding was awful all game. Too many turnovers. And do we want to disect the inbounding of the ball down the stretch? While Jones kept GW from being humiliated, the gameball goes to the towel person at ODU´s end of the court because without that slip in the final seconds not sure that one ends as a "W".
I did not see a team that will be competitive in the A10 on the court tonight. Too soft inside, too streaky outside. Did this team play its best ball in USVI?

Team has to learn how to value the ball. But the rebounding is terrible. Game would have been a blowout if the team got the rebounds they should have. ODU had so many offensive rebounds that led to second chance points. Even a small team get most defensive rebounds by blocking out. Team has to play tougher.

Well, the bitter aftertaste of the Bender Blunder was only partially covered up with the W at ODU - but certainly not eradicated, or even much ameliorated. Double digit missed FT's - check, no rebounding - check, copious turnovers - check. Fortuitously, Drumgoole made a few open treys and Jones had a fine game off the bench. I frankly hope the Black Knights are totally distracted by the Navy game and their football team's great success this year when they visit the Smitty on Friday the 13th. Our success against Patriot League opposition is not famous.
