Zeke - Update
I was in Baltimore today to watch the CIAA Finals
CIAA is one of the two Division 2 conferences for HBCUs
Bowie State is a member of the North Division
It is the oldest of the HBCU Conferences as almost all HBCUs were a member until 1970.
That is when Howard and others chose to upgrade their programs/facilities and join D-1.
I sat beside Isiah Armwood, Sr. - Zeke's dad, as he is good friends with one of my good friends.
Junior is now playing basketball in Portugal

That is a nice long pro-career. Great to hear. Zeke was a key addition to the beginning of the turnaround for the Lonergan years.

Best to the Armwood family. ML developed a lot of talent and our current coach has certainly done it
with Castro.
Castro has basically, if not almost exactly, the same career path as Zeke had.
Totally blossoming at GW, the best place for him.
With another year left, he can develop the outside shot that Zeke did at the Smith Center,
making his game even more lethal.
