Although the schedule is not quite finalized, it's hard to envision a to-be-determined opponent that would forge its way into this question. Purposefully excluding any A10 Tournament game or possible postseason game from this question.
In 2025-26, you are most looking forward to seeing:
A) Georgetown..It's at home so you many of you can see it in person. And, it's Georgetown. Waiting to play them for 40+ years, you know the drill. But in reality, it's an exhibition that has no bearing on GW's regular season or postseason hopes.
B) Florida..They are the defending national champions, a challenge that does not come along every day. An upset victory makes news nationally and quite possibly a Top 25 slot (or at least votes). But, it's likely a game that most will not see in person (am guessing a SEC Network game). Plus, the odds of an upset are not exactly on GW's side.
C) An A10 Game..No need to specify, let's just call this whatever our most important A10 regular season game of the year might be. Might be instrumental with respect to metrics, conference standings and tournament seeding. But, it's a game that practically by definition can't carry the same weight as A or B in terms of "name recognition", even if the game result becomes far more important than A (obviously) or B.

Its like asking the question which was your favorite game of all time and not choosing beating the #1 team in the country, at home, with the president present. Of course it is Ge**getown, even as an exhibition game. It has been 40 something years, most of which we spent in their shadow. It is the rivalry that we all want to resume more than any other rivalry. It is the ultimate good vs. evil.

Yeah, a chance to get swamped (pun intended) by Florida looks nice on paper. And the annual tilt with AU, a visit to an Academy and the chance to shut up the yokels that cheer for the likes of Dayton and Richmond are always fun. But who are we trying to kid?
There is but one date circled on the calendar. (and no, I am not referring to the chance to see GW play Murray St). "Blood lust" only begins to encompass the feelings we are all experiencing ahead of the exhibition with the Evil Empire. Honestly, disbanding the team on October 19 would still leave my thirst for seeing GW basketball sated for the 2025-26 season.

A. All the way.
Shoutout to LSF who pointed out that in today's complicated world, "it is the ultimate good vs.
evil."
Seconded by MV Colonial and GWAA's very apt last sentence above.

I like good basketball so it's Florida, Florida, Florida. Georgetown in an Exhibition Game? ... I don't care about shit that happened 40+ years ago. Georgetown isn't the Georgetown of old in fact they aren't even good. Plus if you think both coaches will treat it like a real game you are sadly mistaken. It will mean absolutely nothing either way. And if you think that a victory in an exhibition game will right the wrongs of the past 40 years ...ummm ok. But if that's what you are most looking forward to seeing, I guess the regular season is all downhill from there lol.

You must be a lot of fun at parties.

I'd say this is what makes this a good question. The most emotional answer is the one that truly holds the least significance to the 2025-26 Revs. None of these players were born the last time GW played Georgetown played; in fact, the same can be said for most of the coaches.
The other detrimental aspect of the Georgetown game (besides it having no real bearing towards the season) is that the phrase "bragging rights" really shouldn't apply to an exhibition. Let's say GW wins by 25. Who will you brag to? What will the person on the other end say? "You're bragging about an exhibition game? Who the fuck cares besides you?" So, there is that.

I have no idea whether Rising is fun a parties, lol, but he is 100% right on this one. I just don’t understand the obsession with Georgetown, which hasn’t been relevant in years. I expect the turnout won’t be much more than any other exhibition, especially the students, and I doubt the WaPo will even cover the game. I’m looking forward to it for its historical aspect, but the Florida game is a much bigger deal for the program. And we don’t necessarily have to win, just be competitive (easier said than done).

count me as one who doesn't really care about an exhibition against Georgetown

Imagine the conversation Gwmayhem might have at a party. "Georgetown screwed us 40 years ago and now they're going to play us in an exhibition game that doesn't count. I can't wait ... biggest game of the year! Been waiting for this one for 40 years." Imagine the look on the face of virtually anyone that remotely follows sports. I think you should try that one Gwmayhem and see how fun you are at parties. LMAO.

Time to brush up on those reading comprehension skills, Rising. Didn't I just write that "bragging rights" should not apply to an exhibition game? Didn't I just say that very few if any people are going to truly care if GW wins?
Am admittedly excited to see the game but on this subject, I've played this one very much down the middle.
