Seven mins after the scheduled tipoff and GW is still yet to score a point?!?!?!?
My ESPN+ feed is showing a "This event is about to begin" screen and my pirate feed has people in an ESPN studio talking about a game played 15 years ago. What is going on?
(full disclosure: I am of the opinion statehood should be determined on a promotion/relegation criteria, and I would have relegated the state of Florida long, long ago)

Game starts, a Fla player shooting 20% from 3 for the season hits his first two 3-pt shots. Because of course a guy not shooting well from outside gets hot against GW.

We’re doing a great job on the boards early, hustling for loose balls, and we haven’t let them get a single shot inside yet. I know Florida has made us pay with 3-7 from three, but they are a poor shooting team and it’s a good strategy to start the game to force them to beat us from outside.
The real problem is on offense where we’re 2-10 shooting. We’re so reliant on getting to the rim, but it’s so tough against their size. Want to see better ball movement and less reliance one one guy trying to get to the rim and shoot over their bigs.

Let’s go! 2-10 from three but still have the lead. We’re really playing hard, taking care of the ball, rebounding, and forcing them to settle for jumpers.
Would love to see a couple shots go down to loosen us up on offense, but I really like the way we are competing.

Fla is ranked #18? If there really are only 17 teams in country better than them, then college basketball is really in the doldrums.
Better shooting and GW is up by 12-15 at this point.
