Probably true, but he has also had two wide open looks under the hoop and whiffed on both of them. He made two solid moves to create that space but he can’t finish.

I was hoping that big game jitters would have been gone by first media timeout. For most of the team, they carried through the entire half. As a result...multiple missed layups and bad free throw shooting those few times we can get to the line. Offense is totally disjointed but interior defense coming up strong. Yet we are down only 3 at the half. Imagine if Garrett Johnson shows up in the second half?

What is with this team and final 20 seconds of the first half?
While Florida has more talent (and pays for more talent) they do not look like that much better a team than GW. The team that improves its shooting the 2nd will win this game.

Marshall was playing fantastic. That 2nd foul on him really hurt us. All 4 of our bigs (slim, woo, hunger, Garrett) have 2 fouls so that’s something to watch. Refs were pretty lopsided so hopefully they’ll look at the box score and realize they called it one way.
Garrett and Hunger each 0-5 (and each 0-3 from three) really tough. Take those two out and the rest of the team is 9-16 from two, 3-6 from three.
