Oddly, though it was at his alma mater, wasn't the job he left a lower one? Maybe it was money, even in that position.
Would think for someone who wants a coaching career that assistant coach would be a better role than
Director of Player Development at Butler. Especially since he got the coaching job a couple of years out of college.
Whole thing seemed a tad unusual, though prob not worth anyone looking into. At least, he may be the
rare GW bball person to go from Butler to GW in recent memory. Pipeline had been mostly running the other way.
Perhaps he found out that it was true that You Can't Go Home Again.

What I find most interesting from reading the article linked by Poog is that our “new” name the Revolutionaries is not used. However, the article does refer to the team as the Buff and Blue. I so wish the Buff and Blue was our name. It has history, tradition, is embraceable and is totally unique. I don’t see myself ever adopting the name Revolutionaries. The name Buff and Blue should appease those that opposed the name Colonials, you know the diehard fans that don’t attend games.
