Quite hypocritical the NCAA. They voted yesterday to not support or endorse its membership to require interviewing a minority candidate for senior level positions. The NCAA no backbone leaders hid behind state laws prevent such a mandate. Poppycock.

I'm not sure which is worse, interviewing candidates because you have to even though you have no interest in hiring them just to satisfy a rule or not having this rule.

Keith, not having the rule is worse. You just never know where conversations may lead. "No interest in hiring them" could lead to being extremely impressed which could lead to referring the individual for a suitable position or hiring them at a later date. None of this can happen without conversations in the first place.
