Our zone is just so weak. We really look like we have no idea how to play it.

Can someone explain to me what Paar brings to the team besides height? Seems like a good kid who works hard, but he is a non-factor on defense and gets caught out of position or in a weak position in the zone very often.

Is this last season's version of the Morgan State game?

It looks like me trying to drive a manual car. Like I know how it should be done in theory, but more likely than not I'm going to stall out in the middle of the road.

Parr has soft hands and can score inside. Can also rebound. I don't think Paar is the issue. However, someone needs to explain the coach's love affair with Seymour to me.

Maybe you're right and I'm being too harsh. Just seems like every time he's on the court he's letting a ball slip through his hands or getting caught in no-mans land in the paint.

Not fun viewing from this corner. No structure on offense or defense that the team sticks with that I can see. Still waiting for this team to use defense to make things difficult for the other team.

when does the mayhem start?

This team is just bad

Ie hope I am not saying this all season, but James Bishop continues to keep both teams in the game.

I know JC is analytics guy, but what I don’t get is how the numbers suggest a team can win if it doesn’t get offensive rebounds OR force turnovers. We aren’t generating extra possessions - and we are giving opponents extra possessions off TOs and poor defensive rebounding.

Feeling like I would have been better off heading to any street court in the city and watching a pickup game.

Why are we allergic to guarding the free throw line?

MG my impression of Paar is that he is pretty good. How many freshmen big men don’t belong on the court leaving us to pray for a moricle. I expect good things from him this year ,

Same issue as the Navy game. Huge weak spot in the middle of the zone towards the top of the pain and the elbow. Time after time opponents get wide open shots in that area.

With our slowness and open looks on D and our hero ball, no-pass offense it makes me wonder: Are we playing 2 on 5?

That last bucket by Hampton is infuriating

This is just uninspiring basketball all around. I hate to sound like a Debbie Downer, but it's just sad to watch. Missed layups, missed free throws, sloppy play. Hoping for the best but I'm just disappointed.

Seymour shooting from half court and not playing defense.

This is true crap in every way. Ranks right up there with the worst I have seen over the past 30 years.
