Disorganized. No hustle. It's like we don't care about making turnovers.

Bishop keeping only one team in the game now.

Coming out of the TO and we take a step back three.
Count how many times the shot es up by us after 1 pass or zero.

Spread the court for Seymore to miss? Yes, no motion or structure. And the zone is not like Temple's old zone. Bottom line "Pretty sad show".

mirror images. Hampton 10 assists, 4 turnovers, GW 10 turnovers, 4 assists.

paar and ball reaallly not making the case for white men being able to jump

10 TOs, shooting under 40%, and giving up 8 offensive rebounds....not exactly a recipe for success.

Down 4 at 1/2 and the team is happy.

After the 4 minute time out and I’ve been counting.
We had 7 possessions. Not a single one had had more than one pass once we crossed half court (in fairness a couple were transition, but even the half court possessions were all one pass and shoot/to or no pass and shoot.).
I guess that’s by design, but I have to think if you don’t pass well and you don’t rebound or force turnovers, then you have to shoot 40% from three consistently and get to the line a lot to win.

Maybe we will see some mayhem during the second half.

The only mayhem is when we try to run a fast break offense.

What you see is what you get.
We may have seen a new NCAA record for most dunks missed by two teams in a half. It will take a H.U.G.E. expansion of the NCAA Tournament field for either of these teams to get on the bubble,
As for GW, if the offense is so bad in the paint against Hampton, what can be expected against the A10? I know, we have only seen 60 mins of "basketball" this season, but I am already considering gouging out my eyes,

On the bright side I think this half was better than the first half of the 2015 game against Depaul

I was at the Depaul game with Wisconsin Colonial and Vegas Vic.

We didn´t see much more passing in the Navy game, either. One-on-five is not often an effective strategy.

Second half is on Christian. I know it is only his second year, but these are his players. Let's see what he can do with them against an awful team, probably the worst we will play this season.

And I will again repeat. We are S L O W, both on and off the ball.

In 15 years of rooting for GW basketball, this is single handedly the worst coaching performance I have ever seen. Seemingly no system on offense, leading to 1-5 with bad shots early in the clock and a lazy, unchanging zone on defense that clearly isn't working.
On top of that, JC clearly failed to create any culture on this team. Players were lazy, with no hustle and a lack of interest. The only reason GW isn't down 10 is because Hampton can't hit an open 3-pointer.
JC should be ashamed of himself.

Is the coaching staff going to realize we need to run more plays for Battle? He’s the only player that consistently looks like he wants to score. Need Bishop to share the ball and get out of this zone to win the game ....

For the half, Hampton 9 steals, GW 2 steals.
