Question for the board: Has GW ever scored out of a timeout? Like, ever?
(11-0 CSU run)

Was only a matter of time before they hit some wide open 3s. HelWell guys would be able to knock some down with the space we give up.

Seymour just had position under the basket and let his man go around him without boxing out to get a putback. That was one of the worst rebounding efforts I’ve seen.
Fortunately he hit a three on the next possession, but man that kid needs to try harder on the boards.

It's unreal. No one within 15 feet of these shooters.

Watching Moyer makes you understand his stats at Syracuse and Vanderbilt

I mean, is this by design? Is the plan just to hope they miss open corner threes?

Is there a stat for giving up open 3 pointers, made or not? Because we would lead the nation.

This is the thing that's mind blowing to me. It's not like these are even close to being contested.

Absolutely. They're barely being contested because we can't get over fast enough.

12 first half turnovers, most of the ugly variety

That play or lack of one, shows a glaring Bishop weakness of ball hogging

Nice Havoc to let them go coast to coast w/5 secs to end the half...
In all seriousness though it's nice to look a bit more competent and be leading in a game by a more comfortable margin.

Despite the open threes (which are clearly acceptable under the game plan), the defensive efficiency was good in the first half. Fast paced game, but because we are forcing TOs and doing fine on the defensive glass today (and because Coppin isn’t playing their best, unlike Navy and Hampton), we are holding them well under 1 point per possession.
The offense, though, is hampered by 13 TOs. Clean that up and we can pull away.

42 points in the first half is sold. Holding the other team to 33 points in the first half is respectable. Notwithstanding, if we continue with the turnovers (13 for the half) and continue to leave the baseline 3 point shot unguarded (we aren't even in the same zip code as the shooter), then we are at risk of losing the game.

Thrilled we are not losing, but it is luck.
If Coppin made a few more of their many wide open 3 s,it w Louis be different.
This zone depends on the other team missing open, easy shots.
