Very good 4 minute stretch as Bishop heats up. Not sure the thinking of going with Brelsford and keeping Jack on the bench.

We ran a nice out of bounds play to get Bishop a bucket.
Paar also just a block on defense and then a putback. Delaware looks bad.

Twice I’ve seen Bishop close out on a shooter on a ball reversal in time, but then pull up (or not put his hands up) like he’s more worried about the blow by than the shot. He needs to work on that - a lot.

Please explain ... at the end of the half ... we have a chance to hold the ball and shoot leaving Delaware with about 6 seconds, but Bishop shoots with about 29 seconds left.

The only thing that matters in this first half is that a freshman got to play, and looked very solid. He’s +11 in a tied game and it doesn’t feel like a fluke. He’s actually making a difference, especially bringing some badly needed energy on defense.

I suppose we should be happy to be tied at 37 at the half, compared to the way we have played this season. Still, giving up 37 points and 10 turnovers in a half are too many. Explains how we can out shoot and out rebound Delaware and only be tied at the half.

I checked the flohoops app on the off chance that the stream was available and was pleasantly surprised that the video was available. Unfortunately the feed stops after a few minutes, but you can click on the game again and keep watching.
Also the UD site has a link to the live audio feed through iheartradio

Great half for Bishop, who is well on his way to 5 straight 20+ games to begin his GW career.
So quick, stroke looks good, and he takes the top of opposing defenses excited to see him at the helm as we add more talent around him

We seem to like to watch and not hustle. maybe it's from watching an offense designed to let whoever brings ball up the court drive and shoot.
