He heard me there

rotation notables: Brelsford, Seymour, Stallings with minutes before JNJ and Brown.

Seymour best he's looked all year

Sloan sure can shoot when on. But D not his forte.
Maybe Noel could use his size and raw ability against smaller team

JNJ coming in hot off the bench tonight

He may also be the worst defensive player I've ever seen

JNJ quite focused so far.

Love the way Jameer stormed into the game off the bench, great energy. Buckets, steals. Nice set ups from Bishop.
Good few early minutes from Ace Stallings

Also think one of the better showings from Bishop. He's looking to pass a little more and seems to be playing a bit more under control.

Good so far:
- Bishop has more assists (4) than FG attempts and TOs combined!
- After that first miss, Paar having his way around the basket with little to contest.
-JNJ has 6 points, 3 dimes after coming off the bench.
-Battle with some nice buckets.
- Sloane hit two deep threes.
Bad so far:
- Moyer trying too hard to dominate when it’s beyond his skill set. I cringe when he goes one on three or shoots from deep or tries to create. He wants so badly to be that guy, but he’s just not. I find it painful to watch him with the ball, forcing things.
-Sloane’s rebounding and defense are so bad.
-Brelsford took a bad freshman shot and hasn’t gotten much run since.

Also good - multiple steals and blocks, and a 15 point lead.
And I just saw a nice defensive rotation by Bishop to force a missed three! Jameer jumped a passing lane to go or a steal and didn’t get it, and Bishop rotated out to the shooter. Definite improvement on that possession.

So, at least for 20 mins, things finally seem to be working. Of course, it helps that they are playing a team with 20% of GW´s game total under its belt that is missing its best player. Even so, this is our first glimpse of the season of what Christian is aiming for.
That said, the women were up by the same amount at halftime yesterday and that did not turn out well.

Good first half, but that quote from the broadcasters has finalized my decision on Christian.

For JNJ, good to see him respond to being removed from the starting lineup with one of the best halfs of his career

Didn’t realize we only had 1 TO in the first half. Amazing how much of a difference that makes.

Shot of the non-starting clock with GW´s ad slogan "Only at GW" in the background. Um, good marketing?

3 TOs in first 3 minutes to start the half. One I didn’t mind, which was a long outlet pass from Paar that got picked, but the one that went through Moyer’s hands was bad.
