Perfect hire by UNC. In the family, at Roy's right hand the last nine years, announced on Championship night, first Black coach at UNC. Just really well done all around.

Agreed. Not only that but played for Coach Smith so the legacy continues.

Odom leaving UMBC and heading to Utah Sttate. After the big win over Virginia his name was linked with a lot of openings. He stayed until now - surprised it was not a larger conf school.

UNC, Indiana, UofA and Cinci are all making coaching changes this off-season. That is lots of accumulated national championship banners getting new heirs.
