DePaul is now on a 26-0 RUN in this game against Georgetown as they now lead 75-49..they've got to fire Ewing tonight!! I don't like saying Hot Take kind of stuff, but this can't happen!! How can they let Ewing coach the team again?? DePaul is actually playing without its leading scorer(Freeman-Liberty) who averages over 20PPG

Coach Carm's squad beat Pitino's 19-4 Iona team. Carm is 44-24 at Siena, 36-13 in league play.
Bonnies beat SLU on the road.
A Bonnies run through the A10 Tourney feels like something destined to happen, the Pre-Season A10 favorite got off to a slow start but they're starting to turn it on

I saw someone on the Rhode Island message board bring up Carm as a potential option for HC when it opens up. I gotta think they'll go more BCS retread or possibly Becker from Vermont but interesting to watch Carm really become a rising star in the coaching ranks. Wonder what would've happened had we hired him over Mojo?

Carm has been really good yeah.
HUGE win for the GW trio at Rutgers! a 3rd straight top 25 win, this time vs #14 Wisconsin on the road
6 Quad 1 wins for surging Rutgers, 3 in 7 days - they're dancing again

Rhode Island Beat Davidson
Butler beat Marquette, Jair got 1 minute in the last time, no time today, looks like he's lost minutes. Butler is bad, so that's a pretty bad loss for Marquette, who had been surging, before a recent slate of losses.

Fordham beat Duquesne on the road without Quisenberry by 11.
Duquesne is pretty much a must win if we want to be taken seriously as an improved team.

Dayton is somehow only a 2 pt favorite on the road against struggling Rhode Island. If you live in a state that has legalized betting, that is as stone cold a lock as it gets.

When will Karl Hobbs get another head coaching job?

He should. He's been close a couple of times.

The Bonnies beat SLU, in an A10 showdown game. Bonnies are now surging

Fordham put up a fight but loses to VCU so we still have some cushion in our quest to not end up in the Pillow Fight.

Kentucky is getting torched by Tennessee
They came into this game #3 in KenPom with a 29.35 AdjEM.
Gonzaga sits in #1 a full 5 points ahead of everyone at 34.68

The Rutgers Trio is doing it again, they have #14 Illinois down 17 in the 2nd half
Incendiary Rutgers is one of the hottest teams in the nation, this would be 4 straight top 20 wins, wonder how often that's ever even happened in history

Oh whadda ya know Georgetown loses again.

St Johns beat Butler 91-57
What has happened to the Butler program??
St John's have a crack at an NCAA tourney with a strong finish??

Morgan State leads Howard in the NBAxHBCU Classic at the NBA All-Star Game in Cleveland. Second half coming up.
Is this the first year they're doing this? If so, great idea!

Chris Beard who left Texas Tech for Texas, is swept by Texas Tech. Both games had incredible atmosphere, a really good rivalry taken to new heights.
Georgia, now 6-21 and 1-13 lost at home to a terrible Ole Miss team that was playing without their top 4 scorers, 85-68.
Davidson vs SLU starting now on CBS Sports - big A10 game

GW0509, I've been watching some of the Morgan State-Howard game too. I believe this is the first year that a game like this has been scheduled as part of NBA's All-Star weekend. The NBA has backed/produced a couple of games involving HBCU's earlier this season. NBA star Chris Paul is one of the main people who put this together. They showed C.Paul and Steph Curry in the locker rooms speaking to both teams before the game. It's unfortunate that the 5-star recruit Makur didn't return to Howard for his sophomore season this year, they could have been a dominant team.
The Dude, during the Xavier-UConn game, they mentioned that the Big East will likely get 7 teams in the NCAA tournament, I'm assuming St. John's would be on one of the "Last 4, Next 4" lines because they have a decent conference record and the Big East is one of the toughest leagues in the country, they can probably play themselves in because of the opportunities they'll have to get Quad 1 wins. The best part about Rutgers is, they aren't just going to make the NCAA tournament, they have a shot at getting a pretty high seed(5 or better) and winning multiple games if they finish strong.
Duquesne at St. Bonaventure 6 ESPNU
Georgetown at Villanova 5 Fox - I mentioned in another thread that Georgetown is a 20 or 21 point underdog!! They've lost 15 straight games!!

Good teams win. Great teams cover. Georgetown covers but loses to Villanova.
If they lose out, they'd join 1994 Miami and 2009 DePaul as teams who went winless in the Big East.
