A series, of GW player of the decade, decade by decade. Next up the 1990s.  Great picks for the 2000s 
The Decade where GW exploded on the national scene and rose to new heights under The Great Mike Jarvis, featuring 2 of the greatest players in GW history but many great players.

Shawnta. Lots of great candidates, but Shawnta is the greatest colonial of the modern era.

Might have been Yinka if he had stuck around for a couple more years, but I’m going with Shawnta as well. GW’s only A10 POY.

Clearly Shawnta; I think he has had the greatest influence on our team of any player in GW history.

I'd lean to Shawnta, razor close

Yinka was a dominant force, who lifted GW to 3 NCAA Tourney wins, The Sweet 16, put us on the national stage vs The Fab 5, an NBA lottery pick

Shawnta an exceptional player from day 1, for a tremendous 4 seasons.

Your non Shawnta/Yinka pick would be??
