GW´s "watershed" win came at home over a ranked Rutgers in 1990-91. Penn St won the conference and got a 1-seed that year with Rutgers and GW getting at-large bids to what was then a 48-team field. Today´s A10 would feel fortunate to get three bids to a 64-team field.
