Not the first Miss Basketball from Michigan to come to GW. Jen Shaskey came to GW drawn to the SIA's Soviet Studies program (yes, that carbon dates me, too), and to play hoops. She was still playing basketball after studying the USSR stoped being a part of current events courses and transitioned to the history department.
