Just saw this today, a new deal "to lead revenue generation and corporate partnership development for GW Athletics to strengthen relationships with the business community and enhance the fan experience."

Looks like they also work with Mason, American, some other local sport stuff. https://bullpenstrategy.com/about-us/

Wow! Rarely does a press release make such fantastic use of corporatespeak. Does anyone reading that have any idea what the (bleep) this means? Of course not, that is the point. I am sure that "revenue generation" and "corporate partnership" will "enhance" things. But will this mean teams win? Are better funded? Will games be more fun and remain affordable to attend? Stay tuned.

a little internet sleuthing reveals both principals of Bullpen Strategies spent a good chunk of time in the George Mason athletic department (marketing / communications)

I wonder if it's NIL-related, or just trying to find more corporate sponsors for the team or Smith Center or whatever.

Yeah would be nice if one of our guys could get a cheesy car dealership commercial like Oduro.
