Mark Few is officially out as Gonzaga men’s basketball coach, it was announced early Friday, and said he isn’t “bitter at all” at the outcome, unlike the beer he just finished drinking.

The Board of Trustees and Gonzaga Athletic Association jointly approved Few’s resignation.

“It’s a hard place,” Few told reporters. “You’ve gotta actually win a championship eventually.”

Few, 59, will leave Gonzaga with 658 wins, 0 National Championships, and 1 DUI.

Few says he intends to spend retirement with his two unruly German Shepherds.
