I can safely say he’d be the best Colonial’s Dutchman since at least Francisco DeMiranda.

2023 6-5 G Matthijs Verhallen got his first D1 offer from GW, he announced. Stood out in the 2nd half of the NBA Academy Games (10.7 PTS, 56.5 FG%, 2.3 REB, 2.3 AST, 1.0 BLK over the last 3) flashing moves to the basket, CnS, playmaking for others, impact on D. @MatthiV2004

Interesting thing about Verhallen: there's even more to his repertoire than what he has shown in Atlanta, e.g. his ability to finish through contact, as @7_Ft_Schnitzel=inherit observed back in October. One to keep an eye on in the upcoming #FIBAU18Europe=inherit.

Unfortunately FQ, none of us can safely say this. Should he opt to play for GW, by the time he arrives here, we will likely no longer be the Colonials. GW's best Dutchman, sure. But not the Colonial's.
