7 turnovers (mostly of the sloppy variety) at final first half media timeout. Thank goodness UMass is 2-16 from the 3.

Really liked the defense and winning the rebound battle.

Only shot 32% - felt like we had a lot of shots go in and out. If we keep defending and rebounding like this, I have to think the shots start falling.

We did have many go around and out, but many of UMass 15 misses in 17 attempts were of the wide opened variety. Poor interior defense to start but it seemed to toughen up as the game progressed. Expect shots for both teams to start falling. Lets take control, first 5 minutes of half.

Max playing well, other starters not so good. 10 turnovers already, Bishop with 4. to go along with his 2-9 shooting. He has had so many big second halfs all season...we need another one from him today.

Max got that third foul and it all went to hell when he went to the bench. Diggins career game. He’s not this good.

When Max got third foul it looked like he was signaling to CC not to take him out. CC pulled him and as LSF pointed out, it went downhill from there with Bishop playing hero ball.

We let our offensive struggles affect our defense. Hopefully we learn from this and go beat Richmond.
