GW 64 Memphis 63

What a game. Alley oop score to Taiwo with 2 seconds left on an inbounds play-- who would have thought? Big key was only 6 TOs in the second half.

Who knew Taiwo could handle the ball as well as she did. Press breaker! Played a great overall game. Loder was really good (no TOs in second half, after 5 in the first).

Zambrotta did not play (injury?). Maund didn't play as well. Great composure after getting behind big in the third quarter.

Maryland next. This will be a hugely challenging game.

Just an update. Noted on GW recap image that both Zambrotta and Maund are in casts-- Maund to the left and Z in the center. Maybe Maund being a foot and a half above the floor in a good sign. I really hope these injuries are not serious.
