GW GR TR Kobe Mentzer started in LF for the Danbury Westerners (10-23) in their road win over Valley Blue Sox (15-18, Holyoke MA) 13 - 1, Friday night.  Mentzer had 4 productive years for Union College.  He is 6'1", B-L, Tr -R.  He went 1 - 3 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored in the rout.  His hit was a scorching double down the right field line.  His outs were deep flys to CF.  Had a SB with no throw because there was a runner on third.  Showed a lot of speed.  On the season, Mentzer is hitting .327, with a homer, 11 RBI, 13 BB.  
This was a NECBL game.  It's a wood bat league.  Two other Revs are on league teams.  Max Haug is pitching for Mystic, 3-1, 2,21 ERA, 1 save, 9 appearances all in relief.  Colton Triston is pitching for the Sanford Mainers, 1 - 2 with a 4.25 ERA, 4 starts, in 5 appearances.  He's from Bangor.
