Drum is really bad today. Ugh. Time to watch UT. Nicer watching a #1 team. Hope for improvement in
gw in 2nd half.

DBJ the only one who decided to show up tonight (Trey Moss has been fine but has done nothing after the first 2 minutes).

Christian Jones has missed a couple of shots at the rim and I don't think our bigs have contributed anything on the offensive side of the floor.

Also, if I hear these announcers say "great defense by the Spiders" one more time I'm going to lose it. Nothing they're doing has been impressive and their defense has not been suffocating. We're missing shots we should be making.

20 minutes in and our 6’11” center with no shot attempts. Am I the only one to see something wrong with this? And nice play drawn up to end the half. Yeah…let’s schedule more games vs Mercyhurst and Lafayette next season

The bad news is that was a terrible half by GW. The good news is that we are only down 8 so very much still in it, especially considering we are usually a second half team.

There were times in that first half where I thought we might have to wait until next year to see either team score. The fact is GW (and its highly-touted 11-2 non-conf record) deserve to be losing this game to a team with an equally sub-zero chance of being a part of filling out your brackets in March. Not only are the shots not falling from outside, they are being taken in too much of a hurry with no pre-shot ball movment to disrupt the defense (and its rebounding). While the defense early did a great job shutting down the passing lanes and creating turnovers, after the first timeout that did not work any more (i.e., UR coaches made adjustments that CC and crew were not able to deal with!). Only 17 more games after this one before the A10 Tournament pillow fight game...

Who was the last GW coach that ran real end of half offense? Poor shooting happens, but Jesus Christ GW runs nothing to help each other. I can’t even tell what they’re supposed to do?

This was “goofy ball” by the Revs. Tough to watch especially after watching St Bon beat VCU in a great well played game.
Hoping the good Revs show up in the 2nd half

Never been a D1 coach, but bad, inopportune at times shooting and thoughtless
passes seems to be a significant factor at the half.
Hope we can come alive in the second half, as we normally do, at least against lesser
opponents.
