Are you already at a point where you have given up on the current basketball season? Well take heart because ColonialsBall has released its 2020 schedule. Highlights include two non-conference series in the state of Tennessee, the annual trip down to UVA on April 22, games against those evil ninnies from That School Down the Street on Feb 18 (home opener/frostbite special) and April 15 and a season-opening trip to Lousiana Feb 14-16. VCU hosts the A10 tourney this year.

When I go to the GW site and go to Sidearm stats I get nothing.  Can't you get info on a table top computer?

OK. I see you have to refresh the page to get it to come up. Get nothing when I hit Livestats. Insane.

After winning the Season Opener against Nichols St, ColonialsBall wasted a 5-hit performance by three pitchers to lose 1-0 to SIUE on Saturday in a game that took just 2 hours 20 mins (the basketball game against Davidson took over three hours!), GW batters racked up 12 K´s on Saturday and managed just six men on base thanks to three hits (and one runner then got caught trying to steal!). Today´s game has been called off due to weather.
The Home Opener is Tuesday against That School Down the Street, although it seems the Weather Gods may have other plans for that one, too.

GWAA, we may have a good rotation this year. I watched game one and liked what I saw. Looks liked we have added another stud shortstop.

GW beats the Hoyas 3-2.  (As was mentioned in another thread!)

https://gwsports.com/news/2020/2/18/baseball-edges-georgetown-in-home-opener.aspx

Keagan McGinnis came in at the top of the 7th with no outs and the bases loaded and limited GU to one run.

YES!!! McGinnis is playing the role of bull pen stud. He his, if I remember the nunbers correctly, this was his second appearance this young season and thrwn for 4.1 innings and has a whopping 11 K's.

Men won a very competitive series 2-1 against Marist this past weekend.  First game went extra innings.  All three games were close.
