Disappointing is an understatement. Richmond is the least talented A10 team we've played to date. No individual stars, but a solid team that is fundamentally sound and disciplined. Richmond didn't shoot well either, but they made their layups (many of them), whereas GW missed between 10-15 layups (some more difficult than they had to be) which is something you can't do when you're 2-15 from beyond the arc. Richmond also followed their misses and got a ton of offensive boards and 2nd chance points.
No one played really well tonight, but again, the freshmen were consistent. The rotation is a dilemma, because right now, Zambrotta and Nikinaite are not meeting the team's offensive needs and are liabilities on defense. This is the 3rd (out of four A10 games) that GW could/should have won.
