It's nice to get the Ivy pipeline going again. Bryan is returning home and definitely fills a need as a three point shooting guard on the team off the bench. Low risk one-year rental with experience as a grad transfer. Knapp is the all-time leading scorer at CESJDS, averaging 27 ppg his senior year of HS. Welcome Bryan!

Seems like a team filling a spot after it didn’t get its guys.  Would rather have had Tyler

I'm sure they also wanted to hold a scholarship for the 2022 class.  Totally different conversation than having or not having Tyler. This is a seasoned kid who can shoot the 3 and isnt coming expecting to start but rather understands his role. I think it could be a good fit. Started every game in his last season

Looks like he does everything Tyler did and doesn’t take up the scholarship past this year. Good pickup for a rental.  It’ll be nice for him to have some friends and family watch his last year in person too.

Great addition, walk-on, a legit 3 point shooter.

Always a soft spot in my heart for JDS players of which I have known quite a few, along with their parents, through the years.  Ironically, JDS may have been Nima's first stop in his coaching career (if not one of the first).  Eitan Chemerinski was the first JDS player to play at D1, also at Cornell, though this was around 8 years earlier than Bryan.  And, Eitan is 6' 8".

An Adam Mitola comp would be the best case scenario for Bryan.  I was going to say Matt Hart but I don't anticipate Bryan regularly breaking into the rotation.  I would instead anticipate Bryan serving exclusively as a three point specialist, only seeing meaningful minutes when a three was needed, as well as a very useful practice player.

Hope of course to be wrong and have the pleasure of Bryan sinking 3's regularly.

Outside of a big I don't know if we can reasonably expect us to add someone with a higher ceiling than this given our depth chart.  Maybe an international player who needs to bulk up and is ok with basically taking a year to develop.  But right now I would say we're pretty deep at the G position.

Does this mean we're done with recruiting for this year?  GWRising?

Is his path really taking him from the Charles E. Smith School to the Charles E. Smith Center?

Is he a walk on (like I think Matt Hart was) on or using a schollie?

Even if he’s using a scholarship, we should still have one left.

People keep talking about not being able to keep everyone happy about their playing time, so why recruit 5 players to sit on the bench?   So maybe you recruit 10 players to be able to compensate for injuries and illnesses or to play 5 on 5.  Unless you're recruiting to keep the GPA up .
