jake lieberman @jakelieberman2 54m
Luke Cronin tells me that he’s receiving interest from Niagara, Towson, Bowling Green, Yeshiva University, Queens Univeristy, Bryant, Manhattan, and George Washington. Rising senior.

Big 17U #3SSB matchup between Team Loaded VA and New World. Texas, Indiana, Wisconsin, UConn, NC State, Richmond, GW, Davidson, TCU, Northwestern, Rhode Island, Loyola-Chicago, Rider, Radford, VCU, College of Charleston, Yale, Georgia Tech, Pitt among those in attendance

If I had to guess, looking at Greg Jones and Jaime Kaiser on New World

Jamie picked up an offer from Wisconsin (and also URI).  He’s seen a huge rise since moving away from Team Durant as he’s now able to play his natural position.   With Durant and at Bishop Ireton, he was forced to defend 4s and 5s.

If we have a functioning NIL going, the marketing opportunities for George Washington III would be off the charts.  Would be so cool if he came here.

I was thinking the same thing? How many schools can offer a player the chance to have his name on both the front and the back of his jersey? (Also, if he turns out to be a good person, he could put to bed the upcoming debate about the University´s name... we´d just say it was named for him!)

I think this means we offered him?

The translation is OK, the word used was "proposal", leaving me unclear if that means "contacted and invited for a visit or meeting" or "offered a scholie".

Maybe I am picky or uninformed, but when CC was hired I didn’t think we would be competing with JMU, Siena, BU and Iona for a 2023 recruit in mid September 2022.

It's also unclear whether he actually met with CC and staff.  If you go back through this thread his unofficial came when JC was still coach.  Very strange that neither 247 nor VC shows that we actually offered him a scholarship.

2023 6'4 guard Spencer Joyner (
@SpencerJoyner25
) is in recent contact with Boston U, NJIT, George Washington, Iona, Chattanooga, Yale, Princeton, Seton Hall, Temple, Georgetown, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Maine, Temple, & Siena, he's told me.

Plus a Review (Note the injury that kept him out of the previous HS season)
Spencer Joyner (2023 | Arts HS, N.J.)
Back on the court after a shoulder injury kept him out of the entire high school season, Joyner is trying to get fully back up to speed, Even with all the time off, the 6-foot-4 guard showed why he was receiving high-major offers before the injury. Joyner pushed the pace in transition, hit jumpers and found shooters spotting up outside the arc. The buzz around his name should only continue building back up as he keeps taking the floor this summer.

jake lieberman@jakelieberman2·7hEemelia Yalaho (@eemeliyalaho) is receiving interest from Northeastern, George Washington, Chattanooga, Northern Kentucky, Wright State, and Montana State, he’s told me.  Central Arkansas offered the senior earlier today.

Previous Tweet with some background
🇫🇮 2023 6-7 F @EemeliYalaho was the best player on a balanced Finland U18 team that went 5-0 at the Nordic Championship. Stuffed the stat sheet nicely (10.2 PTS, 5.4 REB, 2.0 AST, 1.0 STL in 18.3 MIN) showing an interesting array of options with the ball in his hands. @jba_fi

Not 100% sure but I would think this might be a preferred walk-on. Could be wrong though.
