Bishop and GW is dominating this game early on..12-0 run, 27-10 lead! Like some of you, I questioned why GW was a 3-point favorite but as some of you dabble in handicapping, if a line looks fishy..The Vegas Wiseguys Know Something That We Don't!!

I've got to comment on the great student turnout and how loud/engaged they are. What caused the change this year? Does Caputo go around campus encouraging students to show up to games? Maybe I wasn't paying attention but I haven't seen an atmosphere like this at Smith Center in several years!

I don’t think we’re this good.  I don’t think any div I team is as bad as SC is playing either.

Enjoying it while it lasts!!

Love what I’m seeing from Caputo. It seems obvious to me that he told Bishop not to score in the second half of the last game, and it seems to have given the other players a boost in confidence. I also love how GW is leading by 20 and he’s pushing the team to keep pushing. He even called a TO after a couple lazy, NBA three point attempts to set up a play to score to end the half. He then put all his best defenders in for the final SC possession to keep the lead at 23 (which unfortunately didn’t work due to a great shot by SC).

Energetic and active leadership by students  in charge of George’s Army in combination with strong student media coverage and fan encouragement. Coach Caputo is taking a page out of Mike Jarvis’ playbook in full on engagement with students and social media

Here’s the SC run we all knew was coming. Let’s see how they respond.

I believe Lindo’s words to the gang going into that timeout were “Calm. Down.”

Having a very difficult time with the 1-3-1 zone. Need to make smart passes and get some more open looks.

Good experience for our guys going against a different defensive look.

Would love to see the bench get emptied at the U4 timeout

0 points in the last 4 minutes w/ a handful of turnovers during that time. Not in any real danger of losing this one though.

Dick move lining those guys up and not calling a time out to get them in the game.

Hell yes it was!

Way to go GW

First, fantastic crowd, Smith Center  was Rocking.

24 points 8 dimes for Bishop, 5 made threes on 5-8 shooting. Adams terrific too.   Terrific backcourt.

The Frontcourt, when it plays well, Dean and Lindo did tonight.... we're not half bad

As fun a GW game as we've seen in awhile, electric at times

What a difference a good teaching coach makes. This guy has righted the ship way more quickly than I would have thought. Guys seem to be really having fun out there. I know this is one game and there will be peaks and valleys, but it’s good to see COMPETENCE back on campus.
