It should be someone not in a power conference, more likely a team that was year in and year out superior to the other teams in the conference. I will guess Princeton in the Ivy.  My other thought was Temple in the A-10.

LSF, you are correct that you should eliminate the power conferences.  However, neither Princeton nor Temple is correct.

I should clarify that I'm looking for the second longest current streak, after Gonzaga.

We have  a winner.  Nice job GW0509.  Vermont has won 6 consecutive regular season titles which is the second longest such streak in the country.

What an honor!

What's funny is it was actually my second thought after New Mexico State.  It was the "a team that was year in and year out superior to the other teams in the conference" clue that helped out.

NMSU have won the regular season WAC 6 out of the last 8 seasons but failed to do so as recently as two years ago.

As GW coach, Mike Jarvis commented that he has never appreciated a player more.  He makes coaching worthwhile.

Who was Mike talking about?

Well done Minsk.  You can be truthful:  did you know it offhand or did you look it up?

How about this one. Who was the last Jarvis recruit to play for GW?

Arnaldo Toro was recruited by Jarvis to St Johns.

Jarvis also coached Karl Hobbs in high school which I always found odd.

Not a chance. Jarvis left St. John's (2003) when Toro was about 6 years old lol.

It was an absolute guess. But I knew that Jarvis had a special affinity for Krivinos - even giving him the nickname "the baby-faced assassin."

OK, time for Today's Trivia.

Of the players who participated in the NBA Finals this season, who scored the most points as a collegian against GW?
