Be interesting to see if CC can unlock Noel's still somewhat raw potential.

I've been thinking the same thing. He could be a power house with the right coaching. Nothing is more dangerous than a center who can ball. I'm looking for Brown to play a more offensive role this year.

I'm hoping that good coaching can do wonders.  Not necessarily optimistic, but hopeful.   No reason that Dean couldn't become much more of an offensive player, or that Brown could become a real force inside.  Andmaybe, just maybe Harris is healed and physically capable of playing 20 minutes a game.   Once again (almost) July breeds hope.

My philosophy has been we will find success through CCs coaching and basketball knowledge. I would still expect at least one more guy to be added, but good coaching goes much farther than raw talent in my opinion.

Disappointing that we're going to be keeping multiple scholarships open for next year as of now. I can see us finishing above the Pennsylvania teams, but can't see anything higher than 12th. I can usually find something to get excited about, but this is the first roster in years that just doesn't do it for me.

We added just one piece in the offseason and it's a guy who missed all of last year with injury. I'm assuming Max is going to be fully healthy going into next year, and hope his 36% three point shooting in his last year of HS will continue going into next year. Point guard is what it is at this point, but the guards we do have on the roster largely cannot shoot either. Perhaps CC can put them in better places to succeed. Bishop is very hot and cold (shot under 40% from the field), but we could survive that on last year's roster. Not sure that's the case this year. Adams and Harris aren't good 3-pt shooters. We will need Amir to look for his shot a bit more than he did last year.

The intrigue is seeing what system CC installs on both sides of the ball. Miami ran quite a bit of pick-and-roll, and I think that can help Bishop. I fully expect to see us play with more toughness defensively and be unselfish on offense.

This roster definitely has more forwards and centers with at least a little bit of upside. I want to see Hunter and Noel be given the ball more on offense because I think they can score more than they have so far. Rebounding/positioning is a top focus point for next year in general for the team. I realize Keegan didn't play much in his first year at Charleston, but I'm excited to see how he can stretch the floor offensively. He and Ricky might be the two best distance shooters on the team.

Hopefully Ricky is fully healthy going into next year. He needs to be more aggressive taking the ball to the hoop. He attempted a combined 10 free throws in 15 A10 contests last season (and eight of those came in two games). I'm not sure how th

Not necessarily above, but in some cases, like with the Duke guy who went to Michigan, we seem to be

At least for now, still hopeful that by next season, Coach Caputo can put his experience in place for some
recruits with impact, both freshmen and transfers.

I'm sure by the end of June Caputo will have picked up a gaurd. Worst case we get a low major transfer for a year. I wonder if he has a list of emergency transfers

How does this make sense from Brayon's perspective?
Rhode Island not a step or down. No challenge or promotion/opportunity to shine more.
Academics worse.
Kingston,Rhode Island not a big city. Not the easiest way for let's say, very involved family, to visit, except drive, compared to other location by flights/train.
Outside of living away from home in general, what would make this attractive?

Granted I'm biased and love URI, but I think there was a lot for him to find attractive in this move. Pairing with your old high school coach as an assistant under a head coach who has been successful in the A10. Beautiful, modern arena. Beautiful campus. Fantastic beaches 10-15 minutes away. Obviously not world class food like DC but definitely good restaurants in our own right.

I also don't think it's as difficult to get to Kingston as portrayed. It's a 35 minute drive from the airport to the Ryan Center, which can be comparable to bigger city schools depending on where their city's airport is and city traffic and it's only a mile and a half to the local Amtrak station.

If Brayon doesn't care about his education quality then yeah sure. His playing time will be sacrificed by a lot, and he is has no home fans close to him. Dumb move by his part and we will see him in the portal next year.

Tennessee Colonial you are out of pocket. The name was founded in 1928, it's not like George picked the name himself. Calm your tits

Dunphy got the Drame twins from Saint Peters to commit to La Salle so I believe we are the last team in the A10 with a coaching change to not get a new player this off-season.

Yes but JC poached most of his players in June. We realistically have 3-4 months to get 2-3 recruits. Although it's frustrating and boring, it's not time for major concern.

Two years ago, I would have said...at Radford?  No big deal.  It's not like we're playing this postseason.

One year ago, I would have said...at Radford?  Probably not a big deal but should GW have a much better than anticipated season, I hope a game like that doesn't end up biting us (GW) in the ass.

Today, I say...at Radford?  Let's hope we're able to recruit enough players to field a team.

I disagree with you. Can y'all let Caputo do his job without constant scrutiny? We went 12-18 last year, why are you expecting only top quality opponents? Why should teams want to play us? Let the man recruit without picking the first guy from the portal he likes.

The Radford home-and-home series was announced prior to last season when JC was still coach (next season is the return game at their place) and is unrelated to Caputo or recruiting. While GW is unlikely to get heavy hitters on the schedule given our run of mediocrity, a home-and-home series against a Big South team that was guaranteed to finish towards the bottom of their conference (they hired a new head coach last season) made no sense at the time for GW and still makes no sense today.

I'm going to be honest, I'm surprised we're going through with the return Radford game. We got out of the return game against Valparaiso a few years back, and South Carolina never came to the Smith Center after we played them at their place (in a deal where we play two games at their place and they play one at ours). I guess it's good that we're finishing what we promised.

A home-and-home against a C-USA/CAA team would have made more sense. I would go as far as to say we were better off just playing a MEAC team at home both seasons. The Radford series doesn't strike me as a move done so a player could play in front of his family either. Bamisile (when he was still on the team) is from Chesterfield, but that's closer to DC than it is to Radford. I could h

Definitely needed to make the move.  The A-10 tourney game was beyond the last straw.

Same as everyone. Move had to be made, just wish Caputo could’ve brought a couple of guys with him like Martin did at UMass to keep the good vibes going.

I really hope we start getting some commits in the next 7-10 days!

Relax. It might be very hard to tell off campus, but Players are coming to visit the campus. Clearly Caputo isn't huge on Twitter and other social media cites but that does not mean anything. Let the man recruit without having to leak something on Twitter about it. JC played an ugly version of basketball. Simple as that. He needed to go next year so why don't we kick it off earlier. Let this man form a team before we judge.

I made an account just to post this. Im the kid with the Bishop jersey, he does not have an NIL deal I made it myself
