Happy to see that all that money for a moniker change resulted in a massive increase in attendance at GW sporting events. What a waste of money and good will towards alumni by the university leaders. What were they thinking?

Great news. Now to get a rebounder.

Who was that idiot in the stands screaming whenever we took a foul shot? The arena was so empty that it sounded like an echo chamber. Some sick people out there.

On another note you have see the local Nashville papers front pages talking about Tennessee's horrible showing against Houston. Sounds like us but no one notices us. "Estes: What's it going to take for Vols to reach a Final Four?", "Stranded on the Doorstep", "Houston brings out worst in Tennessee" If you can't shoot or rebound you lose. 0-14 from 3 to start game.
Our problem is turnovers and no desire to rebound. Too soft. Wish we had an assistant who could teach basic rebounding like boxing out. And a John Chaney type coach that benches players that commit more than 3 turnovers in a game. This team had no problem turning the ball over and not being penalized for it. So they kept doing it over and over again. We lost a lot of games this year because of turnovers. 

LSF, you just needed a B average to transfer to Duke. But that was the day when you had Zero grade inflation. A's were rarely given. However, you had to maintain a 2.0 to stay out of Vietnam. If your GPA went below 2.0 the local draft board would be notified. Strange time when we got rid of grade scores one time and had things like P for Pass, HP for High Pass and H for Honors. 1970-72 was a strange time at GW.

Next year some ball security should be taught. Nap time.

Merrick? Only 45 years? Yes, these are strange times. But almost all old timer's like us around the country are feeling like us. Old fan bases are being torn apart on all levels of the NCAA. Even the old timer Tennessee fans are giving up their 60 year season tickets because of the blackmailing by the UT administration for more and more money. More to park, taking of privileges, moving their seats to less desirable areas. AND all of the other reasons you cited.  This is the new SEC, . which is unrecognizable  because of the overexpansion. Tradition games may be on the chopping block. There is really no joy in the Power conferences fan base also.
