We are among the schools interested in 2021 SG/SF Mojave King, a native of Brisbane, Australia based on his performance in the NBA Academy Games.

Re: 2021 Recruits

AU´s backdrop is some people staring off in to space and an electrical socket. GW´s is a globally recognized symbol of political influence.
Advantage: GW

All the coaches following Eric Van Der Heijden from Millbrook plus tweet below.  He calls himself a 6'8" guard.  His brother, Jake, plays for Bucknell.

Re: 2021 Recruits

Seems to be steaming up.

HoopSeen
One of the most skilled players in the camp, van der Heijden caught everyone’s attention because of overall value on both ends of the floor. He was one of the best passers in the camp and certainly best passing big man. His vision and feel are top notch.  van der Heijden ran the floor well and when there was an opportunity to make an athletic play, he was eager to do so. Always active on defense and keen as a rebounder,  van der Heijden was valuable on both sides of the ball. He was very impressive on Sunday in Charlotte and looked like a guy who can play at a high level. - Justin Young

Also, seems to be friends with Ali Brigham, Bill's daughter and current GW Women's Basketball commit.

Coach Matt Lochte@CoachLochte Yale(HC), Maryland, Tennessee, Davidson, George Washington, Miami of Ohio, Saint Joesph’s, Binghampton, and Millersville all stopped the Lions Den this morning. #dhshoops 8:08am · 26 Sep 2019 · Twitter for iPhone
The interest could be for Ryan Conway, 6'0" PG who mentioned GW interest last year.  He has a Stanford offer though so may be out of reach.  Dulaney has a couple of other potential players (Ethan Anderson?) or it could just be a relationship-building visit.

Re: 2021 Recruits

Looks like Van Der Heiden is visiting this weekend.

Make no mistake about it, Eric van der Heijden was one of the most promising prospects at our North Carolina Fall Preview camp. The 6-foot-8 forward from Millbrook High School in Raleigh, N.C. showed off a wide variety of skill and was a match-up problem at all of the frontcourt spots.

van der Heijden has a recruitment that reflects his talent on the court. Schools from a wide variety of levels have been in to see him already this school year. The class of 2021 prospect said he's had coaches from Air Force, Boston College, Charleston, Cincinnati, Clemson, Elon, George Washington and Western Carolina come by the school. He added that Davidson, NC State and Wake Forest have also shown an interest.

van der Heijden will be on the campus of George Washington this weekend for an unofficial visit. His brother, Jake, plays at Bucknell.

Re: 2021 Recruits

GW appears in the graphic for 2021 guard Houston Mallette (Pacifica Christian). I remembered we offered his teammate Judah Brown (who eventually committed to St. Mary's) when Mojo was still coach, and we showed interest in Mallette then, but Coach Bousley liked the tweet, so I'm guessing there is still some interest there.

Re: 2021 Recruits

That is a pretty eclectic list of schools. Cal Baptist and a bunch of Jesuit schools? GW, $nobford, Ivy Leagues and academic jokes like UNLV and Long Beach? Not many kids list both Cal and $nobford, Santa Clara and St Mary´s, Princeton and Penn or Wazzu and Eastern Washington. Maybe a college guidance counselor would be in this kid´s best interest...
