This might be a good mid-year development. GW rumored to be involved with mid-season transfer big with possible immediate eligibility. We will see.

Thanks for your continued updates

We can use an immediate eligibility big who can rebound.

To be clear this is not a done deal at this point and there are other suitors.

is this going to be another drawn out disappointment? Â

I like getting these updates. That said, so far in the past two weeks or so GW was supposed to get Buchannan, was in the mix for some other unnamed guy, and is now in the mix for a third unnamed guy who could be helpful, but may not come.
If I was told not to get excited about actual commitments until they show up on campus (Gapare), I'm not holding my breath for a mid year transfer either.

Buchanan hasn't made his announcement yet. Â December Commit is the word.
Not sure how likely but he hasn't been lost yet

The only reason Buchanan would come here is because his family is here.No other reason makes sense.
Even a big fish in a small pond seems out of the question. The “pond”:has dried up.I wouldn’t advise him to come here if I had his best interests at heart-would you?I hope I’m wrong-but I don’t know why he’d waste his time here.Call me very pessimistic-I think I’m being realistic.

Nevada announced today that they were dismissing AJ Bramah for conduct detrimental to the team. He’s a big time rebounder who transferred from Robert Morris to Nevada this year, and was 32nd in the nation in defensive rebounding % last year. No idea why he was dismissed or if he’s someone we would be interested, but we could sure use a big time rebounder even if he’s only 6’7”.

If dismissed players are in play, Tre King, played three years at EKU (15 & 6 as a Jr), transferred to Georgetown, but was dismissed before the season. I guess he'd have two years remaining.

The guy I am talking about has been mentioned on this site but is not either of the dismissed players. Wait for the official announcement.

Then possibly Tariq Ingraham, mentioned by GW0509 in another thread. Originally a 3* from Philly. He's only played in three games in two years at Wake.
"Tariq Ingraham (6’9” Redshirt Sophomore Forward)
There’s no doubt Ingraham has had horrible luck. After tearing his achilles and missing his freshman season, he only played in two games last year due to medical reasons. His energy, size and rebounding ability should make him a contributing piece off the bench."
