Off Topic: UMD Basketball
Has anyone kept up with the terps here? I grew up in the college park area so I was a huge fan growing up. Seems like the wheels have really fallen off lol

At 3-11 in the Big Ten, it hasn't been a good year for the Terps. One of their wins, however, was against No. 17 Illinois. As bad as things are in College Park, they are much worse for Georgetown, who is 0-12 in the Big East!

I had a conversation with a friend yesterday who said with all due respect to my team, bet the money line against every Maryland, Georgetown and GW game and you'll be very happy. When I told him I hoped he hadn't done that today (against Purdue), he confessed that he had. At 1-1500 which means that he was risking $15 to win $1, $150 to win $10, etc. Am looking forward to speaking with him to ask about his "experience" watching Purdue's 1 point win over Maryland.

MD's game versus Iowa was perhaps one of the worst college basketball games I have ever watched. Iowa could have had 120+ if McCaffery had not called off the dogs with about 8 minutes to go in the game. MD's talent is bad. They don't defend. They need to burn it down and start over.

Yeah it seems like the touted Turg recruiting didn't hit this year. Add in his terrible on court coaching and even with him I see this team in the same spot.

Was gonna say what's the story with Ike Cornish? Did he redshirt? He hasn't played at all this year which is surprising to me. Wouldn't mind getting him and Dockery on the team the second time around this offseason.
