Following our bye, GW will take on Saint Joe's after their victory over Loyola-Chicago
They actually have a better KenPom than we do, so I'd imagine close to a pick-em line.
Doe GW survive and advance???

Loyola was suppose to be good this year in the A10. No one picked them foe being at the bottom.

Am pretty pleased with this matchup. SJU is not a ball-hawking team that steals the ball a lot and forces a ton of turnovers. On the other end, they don't share the ball particularly well. Today, their shot selection was just awful at times. Obinna has been out with an injury and it will be a big break if he does not play tomorrow. He's averaged 10.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in his two meetings against us this season.
In the first meeting, GW went up by too much, too early (27-11) and as has been the case for this team, had difficulties protecting a lead. We were fortunate to win in OT. The second matchup was predictably unfortunate. GW had just played a double OT heavyweight fight with Richmond on a Wednesday night, went to Philly on Friday, and looked exhaused for their 1:00 game on Saturday. They fell behind 16-1 to start the game and never seriously threatened.
I do like our chances tomorrow.

Bad matchup. We are strong in the backcourt as they are. Greer and Reynolds used us in both matchups and they will try to un us ragged. Would have prefered LUC, which hasn't yet grown into its A10 big boy pants. Plus I could have somewhat accepted losing to Sister Jean. The Hawk? Never.

In the VCU game, as the comeback was winding down, Max was open a couple of times and didn't
get the ball. We need to have the same team effort, as we did in that first half, to do well in this tournament, or
even against St. Joe's.

They did a great job of doubling Bishop and Adams off the high ball screens when we played them in Philly. Nervous for this one, they dominated that game and clearly know the recipe to win.
On the other hand, the Hunter Dean we had then is not the Hunter Dean of the last several games. He is a true gamechanger when he is on his game. Hoping he could take advantage of no Obinna.

I don’t like playing a team with 4 quick guards, but I do think we have the edge in the front court. Need to rebound the crap out of the ball and get production from Dean and Lindo.

GW -1.5 on FanDuel, -2.5 on BetMGM.

The game planning from CC is so good, getting Dean involved early by calling the first play on an easy pick and roll down the lane for him. GREAT DEFENSE EARLY/

1st 4:00 as good as any performance in a do or die game since NIT. Perfect start.
I mean, up 10 and BA and JBIV have 0 FGA.

At the first media break, everyone has scored other than Bishop, and he has only taken one shot, a good one, that was around and out.

Gotta be better than that trainwreck of a broadcast team on the VCU game on Saturday.

Nowhere near confident. But everyone is doing their job.

OK, they've figured out how to make our offense be "Lindo from 3." Needs a response and I'm sure CC will have one shortly.

We look good.
But once again, best not to dribble into a trap.

Solid. Solid. Solid. Great sub patterns, getting after the glass, guards hitting shots, good closeouts on shooters. Nice.

James gonna steal their lunch money tonight. Go ahead and zone.
