i am hearing some jitters expressed about having to play Fordham after their convincing win over URI. Granted, over the years (decades)< GW has shown it is capable of losing to any team in the nation on any given night, so there is always going to be some nerves, but c'mon...what team would you rather be playing in a conference game other than Fordham. GW is -7.5 and given a 76% chance of winning. (Does anyone else find it a bit disturbing to have a game in which GW is playing in Washington DC to be on a neutral court?)
Of course you'd rather be playing Fordham than URI. The nerves though aren't hard to comprehend. Perhaps if GW's 23 point win on Fordham's home court had taken place in mid-January as opposed to a week ago, the perception might be a bit different. That, and having just watched Fordham blow out a team who had blown them out 4 days earlier.

Smart money liking Fordham? Line has dropped from -7.5 to -6.5

Trying to psychoanalyze this game is fruitless. The bottom line ... we are a better team than Fordham. We need to show it. We need to believe it. This is not a trap game ... it's the A-10 tournament! Not some February snowy Saturday. If we don't win, it will be solely because we didn't play better than they did. I don't care what the line says. I don't care whether they played last night. I don't care about anything other than how we play. We play to our potential and we will be playing Friday. .

Nice comeback win for Bona over Duquesne. Down double digits in the second half. They fought back at the very end to tie with 2 minutes. I'm hoping we stick to our game plan and what has worked during conference play and continue to get Castro the ball inside. College teams tend to shoot worse from deep in NBA arenas, which theoretically should help us since we get a lot of our points inside. Key will be to maintain the effort which we've done all season on the defensive end.

I know it is a silly question, but if the A10 Tourney is supposed to be on USA Network, why am I watching Ice-T and Jane Mansfield´s daughter pretend to be cops on a scripted show?

Gonna guess based on your name that you aren’t in the US. USA Network shows different programming outside of the US. I was in Canada a few weeks back and couldn’t watch the Mason 2OT for that reason.

I am indeed beyond the reach of the FBI, but through the magic of pirate websites am watching the US version of USA Network. Turns out, instead of having a studio pre-game show, the conference has instead opted to let its TV carrier to run this as the lead-in to the game: When the investigation into a missing teen leads the detectives to a severed leg, they are drawn into the world of self-mutilation and ritual amputation. (And as a GW fan, the idea of self-mutilation seems redundant-- I do myself enough damage just watching GW year-after-year). Still, Masterpiece Theater it is not...

While I would rather hear the silky smooth sounds of WRGW (hopefully we will get to hear you all again) I am listening to the Fordham broadcast. Better than nothing.

Good start (for both teams). Liked the tipoff play, but that cannot be used again. (by the way, Jane Mansfield´s daughter caught the bad guy).

Great first half by Jun. He seems to finally be healthy and confident again.

So far, so good. Let's hope we can wear them down

Great coaching first half for CC. Well played with Castro and Hanson.

This is a very good GW team today. Great, aggressive defense, and awesome discipline amd ball movement on offense. Good to see.

Time to put these guys away. Really should be ahead by more, now is the time to go for the juggular lest Fordham decides to claw their way back in to this game with under 5 to go.
