Just a casual FYI. VCU scrimmaged Villanova at Villanova and lost by 19. Just another data point- not sure how good Nova will be this year with new coach and an almost entire new roster.

South Florida won their exhibition game over St Leo’s (John Thompson’s old punching bag), by about 60.
Seems like they are going to be much improved with the new coach coming from a successful stint at Arkansas St.  seems like they want to play fast, and they are very athletic.  Going to be a really tough game next Saturday.

The season kicks off tonight, highlighted by a Florida vs Arizona showdown
On TNT actually, TNT has a brand new package of College games this year it seems?
The Bonnies play 11am on Youtube, that's new/newish too?

Georgia Tech also had a close encounter with UMES, a familiar sight in previous years.
Idaho beating Washington State is a surprise.
New Orleans upset TCU.
Boise losing to D2 Hawaii Pacific may be even more surprising than UNO. At-large hopes probably already dead after tonight.
Not sure BC losing to FAU is even an upset at this point lol.
The Jamion Christian bowl went to the team he isn't currently coaching, Siena by a score of 82-66. Keegan Harvey started and scored 6 points in 21 minutes.
The A10 went 11-0 tonight (most in convincing fashion), but UMass lost to Marshall today. Gotta wonder how Minutemen fans are holding up.
OOC Opponents
South Florida 102, Florida A&M 67
Wake Forest 88, American 74
Miami OH 87, Old Dominion 72
Murray State 85, Omaha 77
Bucknell 78, Delaware 70
#13 Arizona 93, #3 Florida 87
McNeese, Army, and William & Mary all beat some non-D1 schools.
